We’ve tailored the Cloud Application Development (CAD) learning path delivery times to equip military spouses with the technical and professional skills needed for portable IT careers in the rapidly growing field of cloud computing.
Skills-driven curriculum
Enhance your technical expertise and acquire essential skills to become a Cloud Application Developer capable of designing, deploying, and maintaining applications on cloud platforms.
Beginner-friendly, IT-approved
Our 20-week program covers topics including C# programming, GitHub, data structures and algorithms, Azure environment and fundamentals, AI fundamentals, and .NET MAUI.

Office hours (optional): 8:00 AM–9:00 AM and 3:00 PM–4:00 PM
After 20 weeks participants are equipped with operational and technical knowledge to work in Cloud Application Development, and have the opportunity to network with MSSA’s network of corporate partners.

Learn alongside no more than 14 other participants in a live virtual classroom led by Microsoft Certified Trainers. Your work during and after classroom hours are supported by instructors, classmates, and mentors.

A dedicated team of Career Development Managers and Microsoft mentors offer robust support and provide valuable guidance and assistance to participants throughout their journey. “Once an MSSA graduate, always an MSSA graduate.”
Network to employment
Our corporate partner network comprises hundreds of Microsoft partners that engage with MSSA to connect with jobseeking participants. MSSA alumni are able to engage with corporate partners even after they have completed the MSSA program.

Prerequisite learning
CAD applicants complete the free C# certification from FreeCodeCamp and a learning path on LinkedIn Learning.
We’ve developed a LinkedIn Learning Path to introduce topics covered in the CAD learning path. This learning path serves as a prerequisite for the MSSA–Military Spouse program, equipping participants with foundational knowledge to be successful in their MSSA training.
This LinkedIn Learning Path covers fundamental concepts in C# programming, data structures and algorithms, Azure environment fundamentals, the basics of AI, and .NET MAUI. It can be completed in approximately 20 hours, excluding time spent on note-taking or review.
To access prerequisite learning you will need a LinkedIn Premium subscription. LinkedIn Learning offers a variety of courses and certifications in technical and business topics, and is accessible to anyone who has a premium subscription to LinkedIn.
