What is the HOH Corporate Fellowship?

The HOH Corporate Fellowship is a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to gain hands-on experience in corporate roles. It is not a train-to-hire program that guarantees a full-time role. However, it does embed fellows in impactful corporate opportunities that can result in full-time employment.

What is the Corporate Pathway?

  • 12 weeks of professional experience working with a Microsoft business team full-time
  • Exposure to broad professional network and upskilling opportunities
  • Focuses on roles that drive engineering, program management, and organizational impact
  • Ideal for those with project management and enterprise experience

Become a HOH Corporate Fellow at Microsoft

To become a HOH corporate fellow at Microsoft, you’ll need to be eligible for SkillBridge as a transitioning service member. You’ll need to be an active participant in your application. This includes identifying a sponsor at Microsoft and managing your application through Hiring Our Heroes.

Tips for securing a sponsorship

  1. Be a self-starter: Define your goals and take initiative.
  2. Grow your Microsoft network: Leverage LinkedIn and veterans at Microsoft to build your own community.
  3. Advocate for yourself: Speak confidently about your value.
  4. Promote your brand: Use the S.O.A.R. method (Situation, Obstacles, Actions, Results) to tell your story.
  5. Be curious: Show a genuine desire to help the team and learn.
  6. Rephrase military jargon: Translate your experience into industry language.
  7. Network authentically: Reach out to current and former fellows. Build relationships before asking for sponsorship.

May 11–July 23, 2026

Applications for the 26-2 cohort are now closed.

Sept 8–Nov 19, 2026

Apply to be a part of the 26-3 cohort by June 11, 2026.

Jan 18–Apr 1, 2027

Apply to be a part of the 27-1 cohort by October 8, 2026.
